If you're looking for fun, entertaining and educational things to do in the Greensboro, NC area, you've come to the right place. Our Weekend Guide is packed with a variety of our favorite events and activities that we want to share with you! 

1. Historic Gate City Trolley Tour

When: Fri, Oct 15 at 10:30am and 1:00pm

Where: Departs from the History Museum next to LeBauer Park in Downtown Greensboro

Enjoy some time with us on this comprehensive history tour aboard a classy, sassy, and comfortable Trolley. Whether you were raised in Greensboro or are visiting from afar, or even just passing thru, this is a great way to see the sights and hear the tales thru decades of popular landmarks, architecture, and history galore! These departures are on Mon/Wed/Fri @ 10:30am and 1:00pm. Downtown Greensboro local Trolley Tours occur with the comforts of air-conditioning, cushioned seats, an on-board Guide, and a stellar courteous Driver.

Tickets must be purchased online in advance, or by calling 336-722-7777. Neither bathrooms nor seatbelts are available on the Trolley. Beverages welcome but no glass or alcohol please. This tour can accommodate maximum of 8 passengers to practice social distancing aboard our Trolley. Also available for families, neighbors, etc most "anytime". 

NOTE: This tour requires a minimum of four passengers to run. Please book your desired party size (recruit friends/family), and we will reach out within 24 hours of the start time to let you know if the minimum has not been reached for a refund or to reschedule.

2. NC Ciderfest 2021

When: Sat, Oct 16, 12:00-5:00pm

Where: Bull City Ciderworks, 599 S Railroad St, Lexington, NC

Please join us for NC Ciderfest 2021 at Bull City Ciderworks in Lexington, NC! We are bringing cideries from all over the State you can taste the goodness!
One ticket gets you a NCCA taster glass, unlimited samples, music, and fun!
Participating cideries include Bull City Ciderworks, Barn Door Ciderworks, Dingo Dog, Noble Cider, Red Clay Ciderworks, GoodRoad CiderWorks, Urban Orchard Cider, Chatham Ciderworks, James Creek Cider House, Flat Rock Cider, and Botanist & Barrel.
Tickets: $35

3. Sunday Yoga at Natty's Downtown 

When: Sun, Oct 17, 10:00-11:00am

Where: Natty Greene's, 345 S Elm St, Greensboro, NC

Thank you for your interest in Yoga with Kim at Natty Greene's.
Your $6 ticket saves your spot in the class. You do not have to reserve in advance, but it is appreciated. Ticket price includes a voucher for your first Natty's draft after class!

Before class there are a few things we need to go over:
Class starts at 10am! Class is currently held in on the grass in Hamburger Square Park right next to Natty Greene's Downtown. Please BYO mat, towel, and anything else you may need.

We ask that if you are not feeling well you do not attend class that week, we will happily reschedule you to another week.

4. Repticon Greensboro

Repticon Greensboro Pines is one reptile and exotic animal expo that you can’t afford to miss!

5. Megan Blake's Group Dog Training

When: Sun, Oct 17, 4:30-5:30pm

6. Wicked

8. Food Truck Friday Grooves

When: Fri, Oct 15, 11:00am - 2:00pm

Where: Center City Park, 200 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC

FREE Program: Join us for some good eatin's and some live music!

Food truck Fridays are back and better than ever with live music! Each Friday will feature different trucks offering a variety of tasty eats. So come out, grab a bite, and enjoy the fresh air while listening to amazing local talent in Center City Park.

9. Pumpkin-Carving Party

When: Sat, Oct 16, 12:00-5:00pm

Where: Little Brother Brewing, 348 S Elm St, Greensboro, NC

Join us for a pumpkin-carving party on Saturday, October 16th!
$15 gets you a pint and a pumpkin, plus all the tools you’ll need to create a masterpiece. We will have kid-friendly tools available, as well as stickers and markers.
Arrive any time between 12 and 5 to take part in the action.

10. Discover Tuscany - An Italian Wine Tasting

When: Sat, Oct 16 at 4:00pm

Where: Rioja! A Wine Bar, 1603 Battleground Ave Ste D, Greensboro, NC

11. Movie in the Park: Monsters University

When: Fri, Oct 15 at 6:15pm

Where: Summerfield Community Park Amphitheater, 5404 Centerfield Rd, Summefield, NC

Bring a blanket and some friends and join us Friday evening at Summerfield Community Park Amphitheater (5404 Centerfield Rd) for our final movie in the park event of the year. Music will begin at 6:15pm and Monsters University will begin at 7:15pm (dusk). Bella Ballerina Greensboro will perform before the movie. Kona Ice will be on site selling shaved ice.

12. Fall on the Farm

When: Sat, Sep 25-Sun, Nov 7, 11:00am - 6:00pm

Where: Smith Hollow Farm, 5920 Smith Hollow Rd, Kernersville, NC

Mark your calendars for Fall on the Farm at Smith Hollow Farm. Every Saturday and Sunday, September 25th through November 7th. We will be open for corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayride, animal viewing & more!
No reservation needed for this event!

13. Greensboro Parade of Homes

When: Oct 9-10 & Oct 16-17, 1:00-5:00pm

Where: Greensboro & Surrounding Areas, NC

Our Fall Parade of Homes showcasing 26 newly constructed homes throughout Greensboro and the surrounding area will be held Saturday & Sunday, October 9-10 & 16-17. There will be a mixture of traditional open houses…as well as some homes are virtual tour only…due to being sold and/or under construction.

Open houses will be held from 1-5 pm…admission is free. We ask that all attendees follow CDC guidelines at the time regarding social distancing and wearing face coverings inside the homes. Please note below the homes that will be open…all others are virtual tour only. You can also access a one page list of Open Houses – twelve will be open the first weekend of the Parade.
