The Home Sale
Scott and Heather worked hard to get their home ready to go on the market. We met with them and went through the home discussing things along the way and helped them create a list of things they would need to do. The biggest item was they decided to have their hardwood floors refinished and this made a huge difference. We listed their home and had 28 showings and 9 offers in the first two days! Their home sold $11,000 above the list price!
The Turbulence (or lack thereof)
There were a few items found during the home inspection that they would need to address, but nothing major. We helped them find the right contractors so they could get estimates and schedule the work. Their main challenge would be finding a home to purchase and to hopefully avoid renting a place short term. Fortunately, the buyer they were working with was very flexible and let them do a short term lease after closing.
Scott and Heather discovered a new home community in Kernersville with one spec home that would be ready just in time for them to move out of their current home. They feel in love with a home under construction on a great lot in the cul-de-sac. They would not be able to pick any colors at this point, but they were willing to make that sacrifice to get a beautiful new home. The transaction flowed smoothly, they signed the papers, and closed on the home!
